The Yoga Pharmacist
Discover the healing power of yoga
About Alisha
I have been practicing as a pharmacist in the UK for 7 years working in both community pharmacy and corporate environments.
As my career became demanding and unfulfilling I started practicing yoga with my mum (who also teaches yoga) and I soon started to see the benefits and the positive impact it had on my life both mentally and physically.
Yoga has helped to significantly reduce my stress and anxiety and has overall improved my strength, flexibility and general wellbeing.

From working in pharmacy I have seen the over prescribing of so many medications including antidepressants, painkillers, sleeping medications amongst many others, however since learning and experiencing the benefits of yoga, I have been teaching and helping others manage their own conditions.

I have carried out Ashtanga & Hatha Yoga training in Goa, India and Iyengar inspired yoga training in Greece. I am also carrying out additional training courses within the UK in order to teach varying styles and develop my knowledge further.

My yoga classes are catered for all abilities whether you are a complete beginner or a more advanced student.
